Safety and Emergency Management Consultants Pty Ltd was founded and commenced business in December 2013 and provide a unique Occupational Health and Safety Management, Risk Management, Emergency Management and Emergency Response Service to:

WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a professional high-quality service to our clients focused on compliance to the relevant legislative framework, identifying, assessing and controlling workplace hazards and risks and reviewing or developing safe work methods and safe systems of work to prevent workplace accidents and incidents from occurring.
Workplace accidents and incidents can result in injury to employees, damage to property, equipment and assets and impacts on the company’s reputation and standing with external stakeholders. Serious accidents and incidents can result in Prohibition or Improvement Notices being issued by the governing regulative body or prosecution.

MEET OUR TEAM
Rodney Goldsworthy - Managing Director
Has over 30 years experience in the mining industry involving Mineral Processing Plants (gold), Open Pit Mining Operations (gold and Nickel) and Underground Mining Operations (gold, nickel and tin). As part of the extensive mining experience, Rodney has spent 18 years in a Management Role covering OHS Manager, HSE Manager Group OHS Manager and Group HSEC Manager for various resource companies and has obtained a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Diploma in Security and Risk Management and Diploma of Management. Rodney also has 25 years experience in Surface and Underground Mine Emergency Response including high-level Emergency Preparation, Preparedness, Response and Recovery Management Strategies.
From the above-mentioned experience, this has enabled Rodney to provide a dedicated and professional approach in identifying, developing, implementing and monitoring Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental requirements specific to company requirements, Identifying and implementing processes and systems for promoting safety as a core business value and developing a positive safety culture within the workplace.
Janine Goldsworthy - Managing Director
Janine has over 35 years experience in Administration, Finance and Campus Facility Management including procurement and maintenance.
With Janine’s extensive experience in Administration duties, Janine provides a vital role within SEMC in managing all Administrative Duties.
